Jeffrey B. Baird is a partner in the firm. His practice includes both litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Baird's transactional practice includes corporate formations; general corporate counseling; licensing compliance; and drafting contracts, subcontracts and a variety of other innovative contractual arrangements for construction clients. Mr. Baird's litigation practice includes local, state, and federal level bid protests, including protests before the General Accounting Office; public (federal, state and local agencies) and private construction litigation, including mechanic's lien foreclosures, extra work claims, delay and disruption claims, bid enforcement, contract defaults, surety obligations, Contract Disputes Act claims and unfair business practices in the construction and other industries. Mr. Baird also represents biotech and other business entities in a variety of litigation and counseling matters, and counsels clients on insurance coverage issues.

Mr. Baird is admitted to practice before all California state courts, and the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. Mr. Baird is a member of the State Bar of California and San Diego County Bar Association (Construction Law section). He received his juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law where he was recognized for outstanding legal writing. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was named a Top 25 San Diego Construction Attorney in 2007 and Top 10 Construction and Real Estate Attorney in San Diego in 2008.
