Bernard F. King III practices in the areas of construction law, commercial
litigation, labor and employment, and insurance coverage. Mr.
King has significant litigation experience, including several
jury and court trials. He represents construction
and other industry clients in matters involving construction contract
interpretation, sale of goods litigation issues from defective
tractors to airplanes, and enforcement of policy holder rights
under general liability and course of construction insurance policies.
He also represents clients in wage and hour litigation and other
labor and employment litigation.
Mr. King is admitted to practice before all California state
courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District
of California. He received his juris doctor from the University
of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Mr. King was
a member of the San Diego Law Review, was a member of the Phi
Delta Phi legal fraternity and received a CALI (AmJur) Award in
Contracts. Mr. King received his Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration in Accounting from Creighton University in Omaha,
Nebraska. Mr. King speaks fluent Spanish.
