1/1/10; Louis J. Blum was admitted as a partner of the firm. Mr.
Blum started with the firm as a Law Clerk in April, 2001.
12/5/09 Super Lawyers Magazine named P. Randolph Finch Jr. and
Jason R. Thornton to their list of Top Attorneys in Construction
Litigation in the Corporate Counsel Edition focusing on corporation
litigation nationally.
11/25/09 The San Diego Daily Transcript announced the nominations
for San Diego County's best young lawyers. Nowell A. Lantz, Andrea
L. Petray and Dustin R. Jones of the firm, were nominated.
11/13/09 Linda E. Quindt, the firm’s Administrator, was appointed by
the Association of Legal Administrators to the Annual Conference
Committee. She will be joining 11 other Administrators throughout
the United States in planning the 2011 Annual Educational Conference
to take place in Orlando, Florida.
5/18/09; Super Lawyers Magazine for the third year in a row named
Robert J. Marks, Davide Golia, P. Randolph Finch Jr. and Jason R.
Thornton to their list of Top Attorneys in Construction in San Diego
County. It also named those four attorneys to their list of Top
Attorneys in Construction in their Corporate Counsel Edition, which
compiles attorneys throughout the United States.
2/6/09 Angie C. Couvrette was named as a nominee in the San Diego
Outstanding Legal Secretaries special section published by the San
Diego Daily Transcript.
12/18/08; P. Randolph
Finch Jr. was elected to the Board of Directors of the Associated
General Contractors of America, San Diego Chapter effective 2009 for
a three year term. Davide Golia was named to the Executive
Committee for 2009 under President Kevin Elliott of Roel
Construction.
7/16/08; The San Diego Transcript, following a 2008 peer vote, named
Davide Golia and Jeffrey B. Baird as two of the Top 10 Attorneys in
Real Estate/Construction Litigation law in San Diego County.
5/18/08; Super Lawyers Magazine named Robert J.
Marks, Davide Golia, P. Randolph Finch Jr. and Jason R. Thornton to
their 2008 list of Top Attorneys in Construction Litigation in San
Diego County. Only 16 attorneys were chosen in the Construction
Litigation category. Marks and Golia were named in the magazine’s
Top 50 list of all attorneys nominated in San Diego County.

Wishchuk was admitted as a partner of the firm. Mr. Wishchuk
becomes the sixth partner after being with the firm since August,
2001.
11/21/07; The San Diego Daily Transcript named David W. Smiley as a
Finalist in the Daily Transcript's Young Attorneys 2007 section.
The Daily Transcript received over 250 nominations for San Diego
County's best young lawyer. Of the 250 nominations, Louis J.
Blum, David S. Demian, Rachel F. Tait, Christina M. Rimkus, Andrea
L. Petray and Allison N. Cooper of the firm, were also nominated.
8/6/07; The San Diego Business Journal
named Marks, Golia & Finch, LLP to their list of 50 largest law
firms in San Diego County.
7/18/07; The San Diego
Transcript, following a 2007 peer vote, named Robert J. Marks and
Jason R. Thornton as two of the Top 10 Attorneys in Real
Estate/Construction Litigation law in San Diego County.

Magazine named Davide Golia, P. Randolph Finch Jr. and Jason R.
Thornton to their 2007 list of Top Attorneys in Construction
Litigation and Robert J. Marks in Construction/Surety, in San Diego
County. Only 16 attorneys were chosen in the Construction
Litigation category and only 6 attorneys were chosen in the
Construction/Surety category.
7/20/06; The San Diego
Daily Transcript, following a 2006 peer vote, named Robert J. Marks
one of the top 10 attorneys in Real Estate/Construction Litigation
Law in San Diego County.
05/14/06; Linda E. Quindt,
Administrator of the firm, was elected President of the

3/01/06; Mark Bennett was appointed as a contributing editor of the Developing Labor Law,
